A life without education is like birds without wings. Education develops a person’s sense of articulation and respect in their vocabulary. The citizens of the nation are responsible for the greater future and progress of the nation.
My school - Chitturi High School strikes the perfect balance between curricular and non-curricular activities. This is one of the main reasons why I love my school. I regard my school as a lighthouse of education. It presents knowledge as well as ethical conduct for the students. My school does not solely focus on academic performance, it emphasizes on the overall development of the students. My school has all the facilities of a library, computer room, playground, basketball court and more, to ensure we have it all at our disposal.
A teacher teaches us the importance of a pen over a sword. They are like the building blocks of society who educate people and make them better human beings. My school teachers and staff members have really worked hard. Teamwork is an important ability that schools teach. Teachers help to instill good values and confidence in the students.
Our school conducts annual day celebrations every year, to exhibit the talents in students. The students from class I to X participated in these celebrations. The students from classes I to X got prizes in various activities.
For me, my school is more than simply an educational institution; it is also my second family. If someone asked me what I have learned from my school, I won’t be able to answer it in one sentence. I am always indebted to my school for shaping my personality and teaching me invaluable lessons. It has given me friends for life and teachers that I always look up to. Chitturi High School not only provides a base for gaining knowledge but also encourages students to participate in co-curricular and extracurricular activities. Each and every important and auspicious day such as Sankranti, Dussehra, Independence Day, Republic Day, International Mathematics Day etc., are celebrated radiantly by conducting various programmes.
Annual competitions are conducted every year to encourage the children to showcase their cultural and sporting talents. These competitions include dancing, singing, drawing, sports including track events, indoor games etc. CHS encourages students to uphold competitive spirits in the students and distributes prizes for all the winners.
Our school always encourages students to participate in various exams or programmes such as SOF, Rotary clubs etc at both national and international level. It’s a pride moment that our friends bagged many top positions in the same including first grade to tenth class and won many laurels on various platforms.
In our school, we are taken to various field trips so that we can enhance practical knowledge. The students of classes 8, 9 and 10 are taken to Vizag and Araku valley this year. It is a memorable time for us where we enjoyed with our friends and teachers.
The teachers in our school are so humble and friendly. They support us all the time and inculcate good values in us. They listen to our problems and help us to overcome them. They are role models for us. At times though we are naughty, our teachers guide us in a right path.
