Our school facilities include a play area for pre-primary and a well-equipped computer lab. We offer sports to nurture inherent sporting skills – Basketball | Volleyball | Chess, along with access to library resources for additional learning. There is a close integration of online and off-line learning, complemented by a science lab for hands-on experiences. CHS provides best of motor skills through Fine Arts. We promote a balanced education to facilitate geographic and cultural mobility, all within well-ventilated spacious classrooms and a dedicated wellness room.
Science Lab
The science lab is well-equipped with a compound microscope, test tubes, prisms, poly beakers, funnels, watch glasses, conical flasks, spirit lamps, lenses, mirrors, a 'U' tube, magnet needles, a vernier caliper, a screw gauge, and a skeleton model made of plastics. Additionally, it provides essential lab chemicals, including copper sulfate, hydrochloric acid, and sulfuric acid, along with various glassware apparatus. Complementing the science lab, the school facilities also include a computer lab for tech resources and a wellness room for student health, as well as library resources that support learning.
Library
The library is one of the best assets for an educational institution, complemented by other essential school facilities like the computer lab and science lab. We believe that fostering curiosity in students towards the library resources is one of the best gifts we can give. Students have full access to the library, where each shelf is filled with a wealth of information. With 2000 volumes of books, periodicals, and journals, our library covers a panoramic spectrum of subjects, satisfying the urge to learn and the curiosity to acquire new knowledge to stay updated with the latest in the world. Every student has their own book reading target.
Computer Lab
The students of CHS utilize the computer lab to initiate integral tools, develop analytical skills, and learn programming skills. The school facilities include two labs: the Primary Wing Lab and the Higher Wing Lab, both equipped with updated software, multimedia, and LAN facilities. Each lab contains 45 systems, speakers, projectors, and headphones. Additionally, students can access library resources and benefit from the science lab and wellness room, enhancing their overall learning experience.
Mathematics Lab
It is equipped with number activities, number operations, types of angles, types of triangles, 13 factors – 66 Playing Cards Sets, Pythagoras Theorem, and 3-D Shapes (Wooden). With the help of the Math lab, students can easily learn and improve their mathematical abilities. Additionally, the integration of computer lab, library resources, science lab, and wellness room within the school facilities helps to remove any phobia towards the subject and fosters better visualization.
Wellness Room
Chitturi High School's wellness room serves as a safe haven for students and staff. In this competitive academic environment, the mental health of students is crucial. The wellness room provides a space for them to relax whenever they feel overwhelmed, complementing the school's other facilities such as the computer lab, science lab, and library resources.
